Intechnic Corporation is pleased to announce the release of In-portal platform v1.4.0 and corresponding versions of the In-portal modules - In-commerce v1.2.0, In-link v3.3.0, In-edit v1.1.0, In-newz v1.3.0 and In-bulletin v1.3.0 . This release is primarily focused on backend improvements and bug fixes. Most of enhancements and optimizations are done on the platform level and require the upgrade of all modules. Major changes in the files structure (in-portal/kernel/kernel4 folder moved to in-portal/core folder) provide more flexibility in improving and developing new as well as customizing already existing functionalities. Also this release features new rendering engine for grids in Administration Console with ability to custom pick columns in catalog and other lists.
In-commerce - Paybox & MultiCards Payment Gateways
One of the key features in this In-commerce release is integration of two new payment gateways - PayBox and MultiCards. Both payment gateways are well known and widely used in Europe. MultiCards is one of the few to work with merchant accounts in Europe and accept on-line transactions from any major credit card around the globe.
Other changes
- Improved regional date/time and number formating.
- Added Security-code feature for "Subscribe to mailing list" form. Graphical library GD v2.x is required.
- Ability to list address and full contact information for Manufacturers in In-commerce.
- More improvements in permissions and category tree caching.
Future release announcements
We are continuing to provide a list of features, which we are currently working on and plan to include in the next release of In-portal:
- Group-based Pricing in In-commerce. This feature will allow you to setup different pricing levels by discount or set price based on the user group. For example, if your business works with different markets such as wholesalers, individuals and education organizations. New feature will help you manage the custom pricing based on user groups.
- Group based payment and shipping types, limitation on number of allowed shipping addresses and more.
- Custom report and exports for statistical and analytical information, tools section.
- Ability to create special product packages containing multiple products to be sold with a discounted price.
