Intechnic Corporation is pleased to announce the release of In-portal platform v4.0.1 and corresponding versions of the In-portal modules - In-commerce v4.0.1, In-link v4.0.1, In-edit v4.0.1, In-newz v4.0.1 and In-bulletin v4.0.1. Current release continues to be focused on backend improvements as well as new powerful features like Group-based pricing, payments and shipping types for In-commerce (shopping cart). As always numerous enhancements and optimizations such as column picker for grids in Administration Console and more are done on the platform level. SStarting with the current release, all versions numbers are synchronized and updated to v4.x.x, in order to eliminate confusion and make the update process more straightforward.
In-commerce - Group-based Pricing, Payment & Shipping Types
Powerful set of user group-based features such as Pricing, Payment and Shipping types are introduced in current In-commerce release. Group-based Pricing is one of the most requested feature and allows you to setup an unlimited number of different pricing levels based on the user group. Now your business can easily work with different markets such as wholesalers, individuals, educational institutions and others. Product price can be automatically calculated based on user primary group or optimal (cheapest) price. Additionally, Group-based Payment and Shipping types allow you to narrow payment and shipping options for any particular user group.
Other changes
- Improved file management in the WYSIWYG content editor.
- Added Security-code feature for User Registration form. Graphical library GD v2.x is required.

We are continuing to provide a list of features, which we are currently working on and plan to include in the next release of In-portal:
- Dynamically managed registration, submission and other forms throughout the modules.
- Custom reports and exports for statistical and analytical information, tools section.
- Ability to create special product packages containing multiple products to be sold with a discounted price.
